feels so good to be home, but it feels so bad to be here. it makes me want to shed tears, collapse within my own fears. i get some time to breathe, but will i? it depends. sometimes i overextend but tonight i'll see my friends... saw her with her stomach out and i felt like frank ocean. i was left with so much emotion, yet devoid of all devotion. and so i say goodbye because i have no better way. i'll save it for today, so then you'll hear it in some way...

Cherry 02:14
She is only seen, whenever there’s a place that could be free, it’s handed to the right. Everything’s alright. Coming home from work, it never was a thing before they left, there never was a chance. Saved without romance. Sex with added guilt, there’s never any way to break it down, just something has to stop. Hurts without her top. On the couch she sleeps, it never was a thing that could be seen, it wasn’t ever there. Just another scare.

Raspberry 03:01
Just going to try to hide away He doesn’t see me anyhow Am I supposed to know how to feel? I guess that’s what I’m waiting for. When I’m getting closer, I don’t feel so sure about myself, I don’t have an idea what I’m after, I just want to get in the door, but you know… I want him alone with me but I never thought I could believe so it’s hard to even see Just trying not to be Now it turns to night And nothing ever feels right If something isn’t in sight What will I ever be? He is coming over now He caught me staring just enough I don’t know what I’ll say, I don’t know anything, I’m not alive If he says something I know I’ll mess it up inside my head I’m scared, this is too real for me Guess I’m gonna have to try, but you know...

Trish 03:33
Trish, I’m not scared of you anymore. When you sing those songs, you said We need to leave Hide the key There was a sign You said We used to hear In different ways Now it’s clear When we get all the way on our own When we get tired of having a home Trish, we’re so sad for you Such is life When you sang those songs, you said Things that were real And intact It was so nice You said… Trish, we’ll listen to you Don’t you see? When we hear those songs, You said… Things we can feel Such a wave It feels so nice You said...

Sober 03:03
Seven, hits like was promised Like was said would be in soon But I’ll leave now Cause I can’t stay I’ll be bored by the afternoon Going without But is it easier to? I’m just not over it now It’d just be harder if I’m sober when I’m Staying at home Without a reason to live Except to work and to give A little glimmer when it’s over and done Walking around The neighbors look at me now I guess I’m too old for this, A little innocence because of by my Casual attire My friends can’t look at me now I guess I’m without a doubt A little crazier than when I was Homebound In the big-box stores The fear deep in their eyes When they go out And see the news We're the only ones they’d find (change at bottom) Going without But is it easier to? I’m just not over it now It’d just be harder if I’m sober when I’m Staying at home Without a reason to live Except to work and to give A little glimmer when it’s over and done Walking around The neighbors look at me now I guess I’m too old for this, A little innocence because of by my Casual attire My friends can’t look at me now I guess I’m without a doubt A little crazy but I always was

New Life Now 07:03
on’t go Into the woods now Into the fire, stands a new demon stands even higher. Watching the highlights Hearing the crowd noise Tell a new story Tell us something, old boys… Heroes, heroes come at you, but they don’t have an answer. “Sit in the garden If you’re such a dancer.” But fighting is easy, hearing’s the hard part. Settle your distance, then we’ll have a new start. Say, You wanna leave now? You wanna try out. Just a new thing now There is some small doubt. But it’s so clear now But it’s a calling It’s a new life now So why are you stalling? I am not myself When I watch the screen. I don’t want to know What those racists plead. I’m an animal, if not one at heart. When I watch the punch, don’t know where to start. He is just a man, but is something else. In my life, In no light.

Body 04:29
She has to wait, She has to wait for no one Watching the rain, Watching the same, for no one It’s no fun anymore Standing in the backyard I wait for her But There’s a reason She waits by the door And it’s not for me Staying in town, Are you coming down For no one? Drowning today, Fading away, for no one There’s no worth anymore

Wally's Spot 03:10
You never come to town With family around The drinks are here, there is a chance, you might get back in time, but wait Know just what to say When advice comes your way Don’t pour your feelings out, you’re smarter than the others, yes, just wait Naked by the thoughts Your family’s been taught They stray to politics, you go to stay away from everything now Settle down yourself It’s better for your health They’re gonna say what they will say You’ll never lose your way from them now You’ll always hear a lot Down at Wally’s Spot The food is here, there is a feeling They’re misleading you, just wait now The banquet hall’s abound With older lives around They drink and talk about the days when Nothing was much like now

Funeralism 09:40
All these clouds Go on by rather fleeting A reverent nostalgia lingers Of a childhood spent believing Oh, would you sit with me now I have nothing to better to do, I want to pass the time with you Because I believe in me and you, it’s true Careful to admonish you Without feeling the scorn of it too Don’t know how I’ll get through Without the saturday’s hue Sitting by the lawn I want to let the rain fall down I want to walk about my town I want to let it make me drown Set to let it go Just before they're home Walked around the way Just for one more day You don’t have to smoke Just to know you’ve woke Sitting by the trees So much good to see There’s no need to stay It’s fine anyway You won’t be alone You won’t need the phone Set to find yourself Better for your death Better for the day Better off this way --the end--
